Pink Eye (Conjunctivitis)

Pink eye (conjunctivitis), is a common eye infection which causes redness, swelling, and itching. It’s usually caused by a virus and sometimes by bacteria. It is very contagious, easily spreading from person to person.

TREATMENT

Unfortunately, although it is usually caused by a viral infection, which can’t be treated with antibiotics, yet they are commonly prescribed for this condition anyway, killing very beneficial probiotic bacteria, causing a lot of harm to the colon and immune system. Researchers looked at studies on the treatment of conjunctivitis with prescribed antibiotics and concluded that antibiotics helped speed up the recovery in only 10 out of 100 people!

– The truth is there are many excellent natural remedies for pink eye including propolis tincture, neem oil or aloe vera gel that have both antibacterial and antiviral properties and in addition they all can reduce inflammation and speed up healing.

– Colloidal Silver > works like a charm for pink eye because it does kill pathogens very quickly. Pink eye is a bacterial or viral infection causing inflammation of the mucous membrane that covers eyeball and eyelid lining. When applied on the pink eye, the silver colloids pick up the infected cells by attracting them electromagnetically and sending them into the blood to be removed. Unlike synthetic antibiotics that are only able to treat specific types of bacteria, colloidal silver is effective in killing all types of bacterial or even viral pathogens.
