FALLOPIAN TUBES BLOCKED OR DAMAGED

Written by Slawomir Gromadzki, MPH

Fallopian Tubes Blocked, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (Salpingitis)

CAUSES

Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes are usually blocked by scar tissue or pelvic adhesions. These can be caused by many factors, including Salpingitis (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) which is an inflammation of the fallopian tubes caused by bacterial infection, including sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhoea and chlamydia. Salpingitis, leading to blocked or damaged fallopian tubes, is one of the most common causes of female infertility. The inflammation stimulates extra fluid secretion or pus which collects inside the fallopian tube. Infection of one tube leads to infection of the other, as the bacteria migrates via lymph vessels. The infection may permanently damage the fallopian tube or create scar tissue blocking it so that the eggs released during menstrual cycles can’t meet up with sperm.

Also endometriosis >, fibroids > and other factors may blocked or damage fallopian tubes.

POSSIBLE SYMPTOMS OF BLOCKED FALLOPIAN TUBES

Extreme pain during menstruation and urination, pain in lower back, painful sexual intercourse, pain in the lower abdomen, discharge from vagina, fatigue.

REMEDIES TO UNBLOCK FALLOPIAN TUBES

Serrapeptase enzyme > also known as serrapeptidase is an enzyme that was originally derived from a bacteria that resides in the intestines of silk worms. The silk worm uses the enzyme to breakdown the cocoon of the silk worm. Although the enzyme is found in silk worms, they are not used in the production of commercially available Serrapeptase supplements. It is extracted from Serratia bacteria.

Serrapeptase is an excellent natural remedy because it is able to dissolve any dead or scare tissue in the body including the one which blocks fallopian tubes. It was found that serrapeptase enzyme helps unblock fallopian tubes by breaking down the dead (scar) tissue which causes the blockade. Not only can it help restore fallopian tubes function but it can also help to recover from cystic breast, PCOS, ovarian cysts, and endometriosis (by dissolving the scar tissue in your uterus).

The recommended dose is usually about 240,000 IU per day divided in 3-4 dosages (for instance 4 times 60,000 IU per day) for the first month. After one month it is recommended to reduce the dosage to 120,000 IU per day (divided in 2 or 3 dosages) for another 4 months. It has been shown to start working after 1 month but for the full benefits 4-6 month treatment is required.

In addition, serrapeptase seems to helps regulate hormones, which in turn will help regulate your cycle.

There are available online accounts of women who claim serrapeptase helped them to unblock their fallopian tubes.  According to Robert Redfern, “As a naturally occurring enzyme, Serrapeptase works to dissolve inflammation within the fallopian tubes for example. The inflammatory (dead) tissue is then safely and naturally eliminated by the body, leaving the healthy tissue safely intact. By effectively clearing the blocked scar tissue and inflammation, the body is then naturally capable of healing and repairing itself. Once the fallopian tubes or ovaries are clear, many women find their chances of pregnancy increase greatly.”

However, even if this enzyme appears to be very important remedy, don’t rely only on serrapeptase, but use also other important and listed here remedies to increase the effectiveness of the treatment.

– Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) root is one of the best herbs for both salpingitis and blocked fallopian tubes because it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, boosts immunity, and is used to treat infections, particularly in the reproductive system. In addition, it has been also known to reduce the growth of foreign or scar tissue and inflammation in the tubes. Goldenseal shouldn’t be used for more than 10 days in a row. After 10 days take one week break and use golden seal for another 10 days. Repeat the cycle for 3 months.

Agnus castus (Vitex, Chasteberry) and Peony root (Paeonia officinalis) are the best herbs to increase progesterone and lower estrogen. It is very important because estrogen dominance contributes to fallopian tubes blockade and all sort of other common female problems associated with hormonal imbalance including endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, abnormally high levels of testosterone, and menstrual pains. Due to high estrogen levels it is also very difficult to dissolve scar tissue in fallopian tubes. Increasing progesterone is the key to reduce estrogen because progesterone has the ability to balance estrogen and lower it if it’s too high. I don’t have much experience with Peony but I have recommended Vitex for many women with excellent results.

Vitamin B5, B6, D3, Zinc, and Magnesium are also necessary to increase progesterone and reduce estrogen. Every day you need to take 100mg of B5 and B6, 20-50 mg of Zinc citrate, 5-10,000 IU of D3 and two times a day 400 mg of magnesium citrate.

Fallopian Tubes Blocked, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (Salpingitis)

EXTERNAL REMEDIES

– Castor oil is the best remedy for external use if you want to open fallopian tubes blocked by scar tissue. It has medicinal properties and will increase circulation of blood and lymph around fallopian tubes. Every day in the morning and before bed put some organic cold-pressed castor oil on your lower abdomen and rub it until it is absorbed. You can also make a castor oil compress (pack): Wash the skin with hot water, Soak a clean cloth in castor oil, place it on the lower abdomen area, and cover with cling film and old thick towel (or another material) to keep the compress warm. Leave it for at least 2 hours or even better overnight (if possible). Do it every day for at least one or two months (the longer the better).

– Often massage the area over blocked fallopian tubes using cold-pressed castor oil as it can help to dissolve the scars formed in the fallopian tissues and clear the blocked tubes. It will also increase the circulation around these tubes to reduce inflammation.

Charcoal poultice is a wonderful remedy to treat inflammation and absorb toxins and impurities from the affected area including ovaries and uterus. Put a cling film or a plastic bag on a table and place a clean paper towel on the top. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of activated charcoal powder with some cooked oatmeal or ground flaxseed mixed with hot water (not for therapeutic purposes but to improve the consistency of the poultice). Place the mixture on the paper towel. Cover the mixture with another paper towel. Place the compress on the lower abdomen area. Cover with plastic and thick towel to keep it warm. If possible leave overnight or at least for 2-3 hours (the longer the better). Repeat once a week for 1-2 months.

– Herbal tampons. Shake the bottle containing Swedish bitters. Mix 1 tablespoon with 2 tablespoons of very warm water. Soak a clean tampon in the mixture and place in vagina, leaving it there overnight. Instead of Swedish bitters you can use comfrey tea. Take 3 tablespoons of comfrey root, cover with 0.5 litre of boiling water in a thermos flask (or simmer for about 30 minutes), close the flask and leave for one hour. Drain the concoction into a glass bottle. Soak clean tampon in the concoction and place into vagina leaving overnight. The active ingredients from herbs will help to gradually reduce congestion and scar tissue, thus clearing fallopian pathways.

WATER TREATMENTS

Hot Foot Bath. Keeping your feet for about 30 minutes in hot water before going to bed can be very helpful in reducing blood congestion in the ovaries and uterus. The very important benefit of water treatments such as hot foot bath is its ability to move blood from different parts of the body which is very helpful when the blood is congested and often overloaded with toxins and impurities. It might be very beneficial in case of blocked fallopian tubes, menstrual pains, PCOS, sinusitis, headaches or fibromyalgia. In this case the hot foot bath helps because high temperature of water dilates blood vessels in feet. As a result the congested blood moves from the pelvic area to the lower parts of the body bringing great relief. At the same time you need to put a cloth wrung out in ice water on your forehead and neck, as it will constrict the blood vessels in the head, which also helps to ease the congestion. It is very important to drink a lot of (possibly distilled or at least filtered) water before and during water treatments, especially when they cause sweating. And don’t forget to pray before any treatment, asking the Great Physician to bless your efforts to cope with the disease. READ MORE >

– In the morning and evening take the alternative (contrast) hot and cold shower including especially lower abdomen area as it will give a tremendous boost to the blood circulation, improve metabolism, the elimination of toxins, and stimulate both the nervous and the immune system. Always start with hot shower and after about 3 minutes when your body is warm enough take a 1 min cold shower slowly reducing the temperature until it is really cold. Repeat this procedure alternating the flow of water from hot to cold, back and forth 5 times.

You can achieve the same effect by taking hot bath and after every 3 minutes place a very cold compress (or an icepack) on the lover abdomen for 1 minute, alternating hot and cold treatment in the same way as described above (3 minutes very hot and 1 minute very cold) repeating it 5 times.

Cold water stimulates blood to flow toward the internal organs whereas the hot water directs blood toward the skin. Hot water enlarges blood vessels while cold water causes them to shrink. Therefore, the alternating hot and cold makes the circulation move in and out like an accordion.

This has the effect of increasing the rate of detoxification and moving nutrients more readily to various parts of the body.

Hot and cold showers can be taken 1 to 2 times a day. The cold shower or bath, which is even more beneficial than hot, will not harm you if you precede it with good hot shower.

Cold water, by cooling our body, also forces it to burn more calories by activating the brown fat which boosts fat burning. Brown fat can play a very important role in controlling body weight because it is a heat-generating type of fat which burns energy instead of storing it. Although it is called “fat” it actually works more like a muscle than fat.

Also sauna can bring similar effect, but remember that it must be frequently interrupted with cold showers. After 3-5 minutes in sauna you must take a very cold 1-minute shower. Apart from that, during any prolonged hot treatment (bath, sauna, shower or hot foot bath) a very cold compress on the forehead and neck should be applied constantly.

If you experience any health problems please consult the use of sauna and other prolonged hot or cold treatments with your physician.

Fallopian Tubes Blocked, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (Salpingitis)

NUTRITIONAL AND LIFESTYLE RECOMMENDATIONS

– Avoid stimulants (caffeine, smoking, alcohol, etc.). A study published in the International Journal of Epidemiology successfully established a link between tobacco smoking and alcohol consumption with fallopian tube blockage, ultimately leading to infertility.

Alcohol and smoking are considered to prime factors for such diseases and are important to fix for their cessation.

Avoid animal foods (especially meat and dairy, bot also fish and eggs) at least for 6 months or until recovery. Animal foods as they increase estrogen. Instead, you should be eating food with lots of antioxidants as they promote healing: raw vegetables, raw spinach, raw leafy greens, garlic, carrots, bell peppers, organic turmeric, etc.

– Avoid pro-inflammatory commercial oils and margarines. Use only good fats such as raw coconut oil, cold-pressed flax oil and olive oil (not for cooking).

– Avoid refined sugar and high glucose/fructose syrup.

– Drink 3 times a day 2 or 3 glasses of distilled (or at least filtered) water about 30 to 60 minutes before each meal or about 2 hours after. During hot days you need even more. Your urine should be transparent, if it is yellow it means you don’t drink enough water. Read more about water >

– Eat more raw vegetables, cabbage family vegetables, carrots, etc.

– Never use refined salt but only Celtic salt (regarded as most healthy), Himalayan (pink, rock) salt or sea salt.

– Avoid stimulants such as alcohol, caffeine (in coffee, chocolate, green tea, cola drinks, etc.), theophylline (in tea) or and theobromine (in cacao and chocolate) because although they appear to give you a short time energy boost yet it is only a borrowed energy, which means sooner or later you will have to pay for it with the loss of energy. And, as soon as you feel exhausted you it will force you to use stimulants again and again thus causing a vicious circle and addiction. Apart from that stimulants also weaken your immune system and lead to nutritional deficiencies and may contribute to depression and other health problems. Dr. John Minton of Ohio State University discovered that the primary causes of breast cancer in women are coffee, tea, colas and other caffeinated foods and drinks. Dr. Minton eliminated caffeine and theobromine (chocolate, cocoa) from the diet of women with breast lumps and gave them a diet that consisted primarily of organically-grown plant foods. As a result, pain, swelling and lumps disappeared within two to six months.

– Every day include in your diet the 5 CRITICAL and MOST POWERFUL SUPER FOODS: Fresh raw sprouts; Freshwater algae (chlorella); Super grasses (barley grass, alfalfa, wheat grass); Fresh cold pressed vegetable juices; Fresh raw organic turmeric powder (HealthAid).

– Drink 1 or 2 glasses of fresh raw and possibly cold-pressed (using slow juicer) vegetable juices (carrots, beets, broccoli, kale or spinach, etc.)  2 to 3 times a day before meals or instead. It is even better to have them with chlorella or spirulina, alfalfa, turmeric and barley grass.

Methylcobalamin (form of vitamin B12) is another very important remedy which helped many women to regenerate damaged nerves and to get rid of chronic fatigue as deficiency of this vitamin is regarded as “rampant” today. > Methylcobalamin (must be sublingual) 2,000 to 3,000 mcg a day under the tongue (only with breakfast) for one month. After 3 months reduce to 1,000 to 2,000 mcg a day (with breakfast). Read very important and interesting article on VITAMIN B12 >

– Good quality Multivitamin-mineral formula or Vitamin B-complex: 1 tablet after breakfast. Please do not buy cheap formulas as their potency is very low and they contain only short list of inorganic ingredients. It must be a good quality formula such as Healthy Mega (HealthAid), VM75 (Solgar) or Special Two (NOW Foods) which are an excellent multi-vitamin and mineral formulas fortified with alfalfa powder, rutin, citrus bioflavonoids, bromelain, herbs, digestive enzymes and many other super nutrients.

– Almost every person in England is deficient in vitamin D. Vitamin D is important for human nervous system. Even in India 80% of people are deficient in vitamin D because they do not expose their bodies to the sun. While taking vitamin D3 supplements always remember to take also well absorbed magnesium (such as citrate) as vitamin D supplements lead to magnesium deficiency over time. If you can’t afford higher doses take at least 4,000 IU of vitamin D3 a day with meal. But since deficiency of this vitamin is so widespread (especially in the UK) it would be better to take 10,000 to 30,000 or even 50,000 IU a day with meals with appropriate doses of magnesium (50,000 IU shouldn’t be taken longer than 2 months). Another requirement for proper absorption of vitamin D is 200 mcg of Vitamin K2 MK-7 (Derived from Natural Natto) a day.

– Millions suffer also from Magnesium deficiency without even knowing it. Magnesium deficiency is often misdiagnosed because it does not show up in blood tests as only 1% of the body’s magnesium is stored in the blood. According to Dr. Norman Shealy, “Every known illness (including fibromyalgia) is associated with a magnesium deficiency. Magnesium deficiency may be responsible for more diseases than any other nutrient.” Dosage: Try to use a good quality magnesium of high bioavailability such as Magnesium citrate (MagCitra by HealthAid or powder by Viridian): 2 x 400mg 60 min before breakfast and about 1 – 2 hours before bed. If you take very high doses of vitamin D3 (over 30,000 IU a day) you will probably need 2 x 800mg of magnesium.

– Get Folate (Folic acid) by consuming green leafy vegetables every day or if you want a supplement take it only in the form of L-methylfolate or folacin. Usually in good multivitamins there is more than enough of folic acid (400mcg per daily dose).

Omega 3 fats have been suggested by research to have a calming and anti-depressive effect on the nervous system enhancing brain health and mental well-being. Rich sources of Omega-3 are: flax oil, flax seeds (must be ground), walnuts, almonds, and pumpkin seeds. Chia seeds are very helpful too as it is regarded as the best source of Omega 3 fatty acids. Mix 1-2 tablespoons with fruit juice or plant-based milk every morning and eat it after at least 30 minutes with your breakfast.

– Eat raw Sauerkraut every day or get a good probiotic formula such as UltraProbio >: with meals (2-3 x higher doses than recommended, for first month).

MAKE RAW SAUERKRAUT AT HOME >

EXERCISE

– Daily exercise will improve blood circulation also helping to unblock fallopian tubes by removing toxins, reducing inflammation, and providing more nutrients and antioxidants to that area. Exercise every day for at least one hour trying to induce some perspiration and reduce tiredness. Fast walk outside is the best type of exercise. It will also help to balance estrogen and increase progesterone, serotonin and other hormones.

The beautiful book „Ministry of Healing” explains why it is so healthy to spend more time in nature: “The sick, shut within four walls, look out on houses and pavements, with perhaps not even a glimpse of blue sky or sunshine, of grass or flower or tree. Shut up in this way, they brood over their suffering and sorrow, and become a prey to their own sad thoughts. The pure air, the glad sunshine, the flowers and trees, and outdoor exercise amid these surroundings, are health- and life-giving. Outdoor life is the only remedy that many need. It has a wonderful power to heal diseases caused by the excitements and excesses of fashionable life, a life that weakens and destroys the powers of body, mind, and soul. How glad would they be to sit in the open air, rejoice in the sunshine, and breathe the fragrance of tree and flower! There are life-giving properties in the balsam of the pine, in the fragrance of the cedar and the fir, and other trees also have properties that are health restoring. In nature may always be found something to divert the attention of the sick from themselves and direct their thoughts to God. The beauty of nature leads them to think of the heavenly home, where there will be nothing to mar the loveliness, nothing to taint or destroy, nothing to cause disease or death.”

STRESS CONTROL & EMOTIONAL HEALTH

Stress control. Research has indicated that stress is a common factor for inducing infertility in females in a variety of ways, one of which is fallopian tube blockage.  Proper way of meditating (praying) is the best way of decreasing stress levels and promoting overall healing. Positive mental attitude, finding effective way to get rid of unforgivingness, fears, negative thinking is the key to final success!

Please read about MOTIVATION and EMPOWERMENT very carefully as it reveals the secret of finding true source inward peace and also strength necessary to control negative emotions and to overcome bad habits and will help you to gain a powerful motivation to not only practice but also enjoy the new and very healthy way of life.
