Do not take Vitamin C within 3 hours of a Chlorella protocol dose.

Question: Hi. I appreciate your chlorella article. When you advise that chlorella not be taken with vitamin C, does this apply to chlorella smoothies made with fruit containing vitamin C such as lemon, or higher dose supplements?
Answer: To clarify, only a large amount of Vitamin C would be problematic – either a pure ascorbic acid or other form of Vitamin C supplement, OR juice of 1/2 lemon or grapefruit. Other than that, not to worry about a small amount of lemon juice or other fruit that contains Vitamin C.
DO take 30 minutes before meals or coffee enemas! A Chlorella protocol works best for detoxification when this green food is taken with a glass of water or juice 30 minutes before a meal. This is because the Chlorella will then be waiting in the small intestine to capture and bind toxins as the gallbladder releases bile.
